Is Herpes Zoster A Symptom Of HIV?

Resp Sir, I had an episode of Herpes zoster 1 year back with no fever, no chills, no night sweats, & no lymphedeopathy. Recently i have been treated for migrane since last 20 days. Its been informed on internet that Herpes zoster is a first clinical sign of Hiv. Can i be affected by hiv. during the whole year i have been under trauma, but i have not suffered any major illness's nor is lymhedenopaty ever shown up n last 1 year. I am being treated by an Physician who is an MD.

There are so many myth about so many diseases , so about the AIDS. You know before the advent of HIV INFECTION ( AIDS ) there were thousands of patients of HERPES zoster and still there are so many patient .
I want to say that Herpes zoster is not due to AIDS but in AIDS patient there develop Herpes zoster ( may develop ) and also Herpes simplex ( but not necessary).
Herpes zoster present with vesicular ,painful rash that follows a dermatomal distribution and usually lasts 1 week to 10 days .
If there is no any contract history with any HIV infected person or with any HIV infected products there is no chance of HIV infection.
Above all , although you passing in trauma and stress after the episode of HERPES but I assure you that you are not an HIV infected patient .
I don't recommend you any test but since you are in trauma and stress , so I advise you get in nucleic acid amplification test ( P 24 pcr , rna ) for HIV confirmation.
