hi dear,
good day. Hypothyroidism can affect baby's development. But not to worry. You are well corrected with eltroxin now. We want the TSH to be less than 2.5 during first three months of pregnancy and less than 3 later. Since your TSH was just 1.9, not to worry. Please Relax.

But i wouldnt wait for 3 months. In pregnancy, we advice to do thyroid test more often. I would advice you to recheck TSH after 1 month and if that too is normal, then after 2 months.

Regards
Binu
