Is Ibuprofen With RA Medicines Along With Heat Pack Right Way To Treat Pain In Broken Rib Site Due To Accident?


from my car accident 3-21-14, i still have pain at broken rib site/ by evening i often lie on heat pack because i hurt all over/ tired of lying & sitting/ is it best to keep the heat away from broken rib? i only take ibuprofen now in addition to RA meds. thanks

I think you are on right medicine and you should continue these drugs. I would also suggest you to do hot water fomentation and compression bandage. Avoid bending forward and lifting heavy weight.
