Is Intense Pain And Weakness Side Effect Of Onfi 10mg?

I have been taking 10 mg. of Onfi twice a day for approximately one year coupled with Keppra and Phenobarbital the Onfi is the only new medicine and since October of 2013 I have been experiencing very intense pain in my right shoulder and weakness and pain in my arm. Could this be a side effect of Onfi?

Onfi (clobazam)can cause muscle spams in some patients. The pattern of weakness described by you can be related to the Onfi. But this association has to be evaluated properly. The appearance of side effect with drug intake that is the temporal association is also important.
I would recommend you to consult your physician and consider a trial of stopping Onfi to look for any improvement in symptoms. I advice you not to stop the treatment by yourself as stopping Onfi without any alternative is not desirable.
I hope the above information helps you. Thanks for writing into healthcaremagic. Have a wonderful day.
