Is Intercourse Safe When Diagnosed With Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura?
Hello doc. I m 19. And I have been diagnosed with ITP ever since I was 5 since then my platelet count has been low. My lowest count was 3000 I have also undergone bone marrow treatment in the age of 9 but nothing seemed to happen to my platelets. I was given omnacortil which made me fat I do get bruises in my body too soon when I get hurt. But luckily it has not affected me in any other way. My body seems fine to me and so does my stamina. Right now my count is 20 And I was planning on an intercourse. Within 2-3 months I wish to have sex. Is it Too dangerous for me. Should I go for it or not?

Intercourse does not produce much bleeding while having ITP.
