Is It IBS If I Have Gas, Stomach Swelling And Vomiting?
Hi sir I am facing gas problem from couple of week.my stomach got swell or bloated and tight after taking food.i felt like vomiting in the morning.
intially I went to physician dictor and he Prescribed robinic plus in the morning and unienzyme three times in a day. Today I went to gastrologist he prescribrd pantocid, velgut and sibofix 400 (three times).is it IBS or somethig else?
IBS can be diagnosed only after ruling out all other gastrintestinal issues. To do that many tests are necessary. So we can not say its IBS. Bloated stomach with nausea can appear due to many issues including bacterial infection, bad diet or bowels obstruction. It is not a good idea to try different medicines without proper diagnostics (seems like your doctors are testing which medicine will be effective).
I suggest you to have at least abdominal ultrasound, abdominal X-ray, blood work, stool test, stool culture test, urine analysis. Gastroscopy should be also considered.
Hope this will help. Regards.
