Is It OK To Give Omnicortil For 8 Year Old With Wheezing?
dear Doctor my daughter is 8 yrs old at night she has breathing problem and is having severe wheezing .Inhave nebulized her with budecort 0.5 mg at night but early mornining she was feeling breathlessness so i have given her omnicortil 5 mg is it okay i will taking her to her doctor once he comes in clinic .plz advice

Relax,there is nothing to worry.
Short course of prednoslone is given at times of acute attack.
It is given 1 to 2 mg/kg body weight in 2 to 3 divided doses for 3 to 5 days.
