Is It A Matter Of Concern If Having Irregular Periods And Passing Large Clots?

I am 52 and having very irregular periods. The current one has been going on for 2 weeks. There are lots of large clots and the toilet water is always red. Its brite red and seems to flow in sperts where I often go through the pad. Should I be concerned?

Yes mam you should get an ultrasound done and visit your gynecologist as soon as possible. Irregular cycles and excessive bleeding at this age are a matter of concern. In my practice so far I would carry out an hysteroscopy for evaluation and take a biopsy for analysis. Take care and all the best.
