Is It Advisable To Give Ondem And Walamycin For Vomiting And Diarrhea In An Infant?
my baby is 21 moths old ,since yesterday she is having vomit 2,3 times and passes loose stole 4 times, what medicine should i given to her,at present i have ondansetron oral solution ondem and walamycin at my home, walamycin i used once, can i use the same suspension bottle again?
Understanding your concern. As per you are wondering if Ondem and Walamycin for vomiting and diarrhea in an infant which is due to food poisoning, bacterial and parasitic infections and due to electrolyte imbalance in body. Need not to worry. Most of the time it will go away by its own in 3-5 days if we manage it properly. Major complication of diarrhea is dehydration, you should rehydrate your baby with time to time .Oral rehydration solution is best for this. Give your baaby proper rest. You can start medicine you mention in query . Avoid too much oily food and give him rice banana and bread toasts . So you should visit general physician/ pediatrician once if symptoms do not subside . For now you can give him loperamide for frequent stools .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
