Is It Advisable To Give Mucolite Drops To An Infant Suffering From Cough And Noisy Breathing?

Hello Dr. My daughter is 2 month old and weighing aroung 4.07 Kg. She had a cough and getting sound while breathing, for this I have been advised to give the Mucolite drops (2 drops a time). But right after that we have observed that her potty becomes very watery.

Kindly suggest what should be done ?
