Is It Advisable To Take Omeprazole For Hyperacidity And Vomiting?

I am now experiencing hyperacidity and frequent "vomitting act" (not actually vomitting). Last 5 yrs. this happened to me also and my doctor told me that I should took "Omepron (Omeprazole) 20mg". Can i take this again? Will it have an adverse effect on my lifestyle? Thank you.

Experiencing repetitive nausea and gastric burning are indicative of gastritis i.e. acidity in common terms. Omeprazole is a very commonly prescribed anti-acid molecule and it has a long duration of action, with hardly any side effects. It is safe unless it is taken with other medicines on long term.
