Is It Advisable To Take Increased Dosage Of Difene For Arthritis?
i am 5 ft 7 inches, 13 stone, and have arthritis, stenosis, and degeneration in my lumber part of my back. I have root block injections every few months. my back has gone into spasm again and have just been given a difene injection in hip. she has also given me difene 75 mg tablets to take twice a day. can i take one now or do i have to wait till this evening to take one, due to my injection?
It is not advisable to increase dose of difene in view of gastritis.
Medication like methylcobalamine with muscle relaxant you can take them consulting your treating doctor.
You may consult physiotherapist for further guidance. He may start TENS, or ultrasound which is helpful in your case.
I will advise to check your vit B12 and vit D3 level. MRI shows canal stenosis and compression of nerve root then surgical decompression is permanent solution.
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
Take care.
