Is It Common To Have Dry Mouth, Dizziness After Taking Oxybutinin?

I ve been on oxybutunin sp? for a week...makes my mouth very dry and an all over uncomfortable feeling. It has been helping my bladder spasms, but I ve decided to cut back to every other day or so. I missed a dose yesterday and feel a little odd today. Kind of confused and dizzy like. Is that normal? Should I take the recommened dose asap or is every other day ok?

absolutely. The wiring is the same for salivation and urination so if you block one you block the other.

Cannot say in your particular case BUT if a medicine is working, then you might want SMALL adjustments and if it doesn't work but give side effects then stopping it makes sense. There is not generally withdrawal from this medicine.
