Is It Dangerous Of Having 3 Cm Long Mass In Colon?

Hi, my daughter had a colonskopy today.. it showed a 3 cm long mass and the dr ordered a biopsy but the hospital said it takes 10 to 14 days to get it back is that true and she also ordered a ctscan and I heard that is dangerous is that true.. thanks

Hi
Any lesion that is present inside colon should be removed and send it for histopathological examination ( Biopsy ). It takes 10 to 15 days for the report depending on the Pathologist.
CT scan abdomen has to be taken.It is not dangerous. It is done routinely now a days.
