Is It Dangerous To Have An Extra Hole In The Lacrimal Punctum?

Hi, I have an extra hole in my Lacrimal punctum ( a side from the tear duct), the hole is about 5 times bigger then the tear duct. I have had Watery eyes for several years and I have been treated for an refractive error in that same eye. Im 21 years old. Is this dangerous?

Extra hole in punctum is not dangerous. It can only be congenital. Its pat ency is to be tested. Since you have said watery , it appears it is blocked. It may request surgical reconstruction.
