hi samuel. In ultrasound it is found that my uterus is retroveted bulky.I had gone labrascopy 3 months back for chocalte cyst on both ovaries. Is it difficult for me to conceieve
My current report is having 1 cyst in right ovary with 1.1 cm ,Retroveted bulky uterus and endometris thickness of 1.6cm
Hi, Thanks for choosing healthcaremagic. Retroverted uterus does not cause much of a problem in conceiving. The problems occur to less than 1% of people with retroverted uterus. Bulky uterus can be due to fibroid within the uterus which can create problems in conceiving. Also, as you have a history of chocolate cyst, bulky uterus can be due to adenomyosis. Please undergo an MRI for evaluation of the uterus which can detect fibroid/adenomyosis very easily and you can be treated accordingly. If you have removed chocolate cysts, there should be no problem in conceiving. Your ovaries according to the new report is fine. Only problem is the bulky uterus which needs further evaluation. Hope it sorts your problem. Regards, Dr. Pankaj Nagori Specialist Radiologist
