Is It Good To Avoid Surgery For Grade 3 Tear Anterior Horn In Mid Body Of Right Knee?
My mother has a grade 3 tear anterior horn, possible bucket handle tear in the mid body of her right knee. She is wondering how serious this condition is, should she have surgery, and what will happen if she opts to not have surgery? She is 55, 5 foot 3 , and 200lbs.
there is no need for her to go for surgery at all as this tear is related to knee arthritis. So even after surgery her pain might not improve. So my suggestion is not to go for surgery , rather take analgesics like ultracet and avoid sitting cross leg and on the floor.
