Is It My Metabolism Keeping Me Away From Gaining Weight?
I am so skinny! I'm 21 and probably done growing. Extremely thin clavicals, pencil neck, very small head, chicken legs, just overall bone structure of a 13 year old. Used to workout, gained some muscle mass, but now I look even more unproportionate. Is it my metabolism keeping me from gaining weight? How can I slow it down?
To gain weight you would have to increase your energy intake (calories from food and drink) compared to the energy you are losing from physical activity.
This means: (1)increasing the portion sizes of meals (2)eating more frequently- snacks between main meals (3)increasing the calorie value of your meals by adding oils/butter/dressings etc to the meals
I hope this helps
