Is It Normaal To Take Microgynon In Different Time Periods?

I have been taking the microgynon pill for about 8 years now. I normally take my last pill on a Sunday evening and then start my period sometime on the following Thursday. This month I took my last pill on Sunday just after midday and I have started today (Wednesday) can the time of day that I take my last pill affect the time difference as to when I start my period? In other words is this normal?

Hi,

Hormones pill should be taken on fixed time as it can effect. However, only a few hours of difference is not that great to cause any big concern.

The effect may not be related to the timing of the drug. However, it is not anything you should concern about.

Few days of variation is not rare in females.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
