Is It Normal For My BP To Go Up In Afternoons?

Hi...Hope you can help me...On two separate occassions, my blood pressure is 130-90 and would last for 2-3 hours then would go back to normal.Every morning, I take my bp and its normal (115-80 or 110-75)...At night before I sleep, i would take it again and its normal...These two occassion occured this week in the afternoon. Is it normal for my BP to go up like that?

Hi,welcome to HCM,

Blood pressure variations are common during the day.
in order to frame you as hypertensive, you need to monitor your blood pressure on 3 consecutive weeks in 3 different positions -standing,supine,and lying down.
if the average value is found to be greater than 140/90,then its an indication for medical intervention in your case.apart from this, your current BP values are within the normal range,

consult a cardiologist for further help.
thank you,
