Is It Normal For The Toe Nail To Fall Off Due To Sciatica?

Hello, I have been suffering with mild Sciatica for 3 weeks now, treating it with exercise and ibruprofen. The main symptom remaining is a numb left leg, specifically in the calf and foot. This morning one of my toenails has fallen off. Is this normal, or should I seek further medical advice and treatment? David

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is not related to sciatica.
Consult a physician and get it evaluated.
We have to rule out possible causes like vascular occlusive disorders also.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
