Is It Normal To Bleed After A Salpingectomy ?

Hi i had a salpingectomy 2 weeks ago i didn t bleed for the first 7 days then when it started it was like the end of a period for 4 days then since its been really heavy with clots ranging from the size of a 5p to half of a £5 and its quite painful when i m passing the larger clots. Is this normal as i also had a termination the week before my operation.

Since you are passing big clots they are suggesting of some retained products of conception in the uterine cavity. Salpingectomy has got nothing to do with uterine bleeding.Go for an ultrasound scan to see how much products are left.
