Is It Normal To Find Blood In Urine After A Pap Smear Test?

I had a urine test in Aug I had blood in my urine. Doctor gave me antibiotics and took another urine test everything was ok. Went to doc today for Pap smear and urine test, urine has traces of blood again. She told me it might be because of my Pap smear.

If repeated urine tests show blood in urine, please get a urine culture and antibiotic sensitivity test. It would be good to do an ultrasound examination of the kidneys and urinary tract to rule out any stones. If all these come out as negative, it is good. Otherwise doctor will advise on the specific management as per the test reports. If required the Urologist may also advise a Cystoscopic examination to look into the urinary bladder and the ureters.
