Hello,
Without any added hormones and/or a hormonal imbalance, it is abnormal to bleed thrice a month. If you happened to take an emergency pill soon after your period ended, withdrawal bleeding would be caused soon after as pill effect, because the pill contains high doses of the hormone. This would be followed by a regular natural period, which may often get delayed by a week or two. Please check with a specialist if any further causes of the abnormal bleeding pattern can be diagnosed. Hope this helps.
