Hi there,

Thanks for your query.

Few people with mumps, develop inflammation of one, or both testes as a complication of mumps.

This may cause gradual degeneration of the affected testis, which shrinks in size and may even stop producing sperms. So, FIRSTLY, you should get your semen analysis done to assess the functional status of testes.

The pain in right testis may, or may not, be due to mumps' complication. It may be due to collection of semen in the duct (pipe which connects the testis to the urine pipe) or due to some other cause, which requires physical examination by the urologist. As such, your urologist has already cleared you. I hope you told him about suffering from mumps.

I feel that you should not worry about the pain, as it occurs without any cause in many cases. Go back to the urologist, if you had missed telling him about mumps' infection in the past.
