Is It Normal To Have Headache, Nausea And Chest Pain After Cervical Epidural?

I had a cervical epidural injection 12 hrs ago now and am having extreme nausea and vomiting accompanied by lightheadedness signifcant enough that I can barely walk. I also have what I can only say is the worst headache of my life and sharp left chest pains. Are these normal side effects? Is there something I should do? I was supposed to get a packet in the mail prior to the procedure explaining everything and I told them I did not. They didn t seem to care and I can t get anyone to answer their 24/7 line.

Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Your symptoms seem to be related to cervical epidural injection.
The headache can be felt at the front or the back of the head.
It is worse when sitting or standing and it gets better when lying down flat.
It will go away in it's own.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
