General & Family Physician, Dr. Vidya KR's Response
Hi, Thanks for using HCM.
Intercourse for the first time may result in some amount of pain due to hymen tear, which will subside in few days, not to worry. If pain and bleeding started during intercourse, then there are possibilities of tear in vagina, needs to be examined by doctor for correction. Pain during periods is not related to intercourse. Some amount of pain is usually seen during periods, severe pain which is persisting in subsequent periods need to be evaluated,
hope this helps you.
Regards
