Is It Normal To Have Mood Swings And Distorts After Been On Morphine For Years?
I have a friend who has been on morphine for years and year...she says,,,getting it from pain clinics. she has mood swings, and distorts what is said much of the time. Is this usual? I got my masters in Alcohol and drug abuse and this was clearly stated as highly addictive. What do you think?

Long term use of morphine may lead to addiction. However, this does not lead to mood swings. It is likely that there is other reasons why your friend has these mood swings.
