Is It Normal To Have Vomiting And Diarrhea When Suffering From Flu?

My step daughter had the flu three weeks ago. The flu lasted almost three days. I had her on a very simple diet te rest of the week. She then went with her mother the next week, and was taken into the clinic for vomiting and diahrria. The doctor said it was the flu. They checked her for a UA and blood tests. We got her back yesterday. And this morning she woke up with a stomach ache and her stool smelt very foul.

Hi,
It seems that she might be having gastro-enteritis giving this problem.
Give her Ofloxacilin, tinidazole combination medicine for 3-5 days.
Give her light diet like curd,rice and buttermilk.
Ok and take care.
