Is It Normal To Have Warm Itchy Swelling Under Breast After Da Vinci Assisted Hysterectomy?

Had a DaVinci assisted hysterectomy sept 9, 2013. Feeling very good, this evening notice some swelling under left breast, warm to touch and itches. It s above one of my incisions, I did have my left ovary removed. I m not in any pain, but Is this normal?

Hi dear
congratulations on getting operated may u recover soon
the decision of getting operated with da vinci system is great as it helps decrease the scar and helps more precise action with mini robotic arms
the swelling and itching are normal side effects at the operative portal sites for a few days and subside by antibiotics and anti inflammatory medications but if they persist even after a week kindly get examined by your doctor as may be portal side infection which is also common with these type of surgeries
