Is It Normal To Vomit After Taking Ibuprofen?

My grandaughter 15 years took some out of date Iboprofen for a high temp and vomited after each dose. Today she took some fresh ones and the temp has dropped and she feels considerably better. Could these adverse effects have been due to the out of date drugs?

Hello

Ibuprofen and other NSAIDs cause severe gastritis and are ulcerogenic. You should always take them full stomach. You can combine them with a PPI like Pantaprazole 40 mg to reduce these effects.
