Is It Okay To Go For Colonoscopy While Having Stringy Mucus Discharge From Bowels?

I have finished the whole gallon of bowel prep over several hours - trilyte - and was going clear-yellow. Now - after a couple hours of not taking it I am having stringy-type mucous and tons of it. Seems to be getting worse. Is this okay for the colonoscopy in the morning? I know I'm cleaned out. Clear liquids all day and then the gallon of prep.

Hello
I understand you underwent the prep for a colonoscopy.
You mention you moved your bowels until you saw clear yellow in color. Now you are seeing mucus. As long as the mucus is clear in color or colorless, it is normal and means you are ready for the colonoscopy.
Best of luck
