Is It Okay To Take Cremaffin Plus After Brain Stroke With Constipation Problems?

Hello Doctor, My father is 63 years old, is a patient of brain stroke, he has been taking medicines since 4 months. now he got constipation problem. At this time can he take Cremaffin Plus? is there any drug interactions? or any adverse efffects?. Please suggest me. Thanks and Regards, Ramana GRV

I can understand your concern for your father, if I would be his doctor then I would try to treat his constipation conservatively instead of medicine, I would advise him for drinking more water, taking more fibber containing diet, asking him to have green salad, he should go for toilet at the fix time every day at the same time even if he does not have such reflexes, he has to sit there for half an hour even if does not pass the stool no matter, not to apple the force, this method surely relieve the constipation try Isabgol, hope this information helps you, have nice day.
