Is It Possible That Consuming Potassium Leads To Swelling In Ankles And Palpitations?
i take 80mg of lasik once a day and 20mg 3 times a day of potassium and at least once a month (if not more) i swell up to the point where my ankles will get 14 inches around and from head to toe i am swollen. there are times during the day where it feels as though my heart is beating extremely hard i can feel it though my chest. what causes this?
HI Thank for asking to HCM The increase level of potassium in blood gives nonspecific type of symptoms like malaisemuscular pain, but if the level is vey high then this could induce the palpitation and greatly disturb the hear rhythm, this is medical emergency, ankle swelling is not because of the potassium, I think you became too much conscious, just take it easy every thing will be alright.
