Is It Possible That Marijuana Elevates The Pain Caused By Epididymitis?

Hello doctor! I seem to have encountered a very angry rapper by the name of P.Diddy Mitis (lame joke...sorry, Epididymitis). I went to the urologist and was prescribed Levofloxacin, along with the anti-inflammatory Diclofenac, and stomach- acid-protecting Pantoprazol. I haven t finished the course of antibiotics, but the pain has subsided significantly, down to a dull, barely noticeable ache within 5 days. I am also a frequent user of Marijuana. Living in Amsterdam, the availability of weed is astonishing. (Smoking....not brownies, cookies or weed brewed in tea) What I found out is that the weed intensifies the shooting pain within minutes of taking several puffs! What I also found out is that the pain intensifies only when it is already hurting. However, I haven t attempted to smoke weed when the epididymitis takes a break from torturing me. That is simply because I m afraid of the pain; never quite felt anything like it. My query is about the relationship of weed and the pain. I will finish my antibiotics (because if I don t, it might make the infection harder to treat in the future), and will not be smoking during that time, but I m afraid that the pain is waiting just around the corner to ambush me, as soon as I think I m fine again. I just want to smoke and don t want the pain. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Marijuana raises the level of the inflammatory hormone prostaglandin E-2 in the body which can induce inflammation in brain arteries, constricting blood flow to the brain. These narrowed arteries require high blood pressure to pump blood up to your brain. Prostaglandin E2 can also loosen the brain-blood barrier and then increase the drug's penetration into the cerebrospinal fluid. All of this can result in hypertension, headaches, migraines, blurred version, gum inflammation, sleeping disorder, and ear ringing, in addition to brain disorders, body or joint pains and inflammation, liver and kidney inflammation, and disorders of the prostate, uterus, cervix, bladder, and urethra. The epididymitis is a slow, smoldering intermittent recovery, so it is common to have it come back a again and again as it gradually fades away.
As am not aware of any significant cause and effect relationship researches in this field. I think that there is no way by which you can smoke but not have the pain.My suggestion to you is that you must stop pot smoking immediately. All the best. God bless.
