Is It Possible To Have Normal Pregnancy With Hypothyroidism?

i m 28 yrs, height 5'4"and weight is 69kgs and diagnosed with hypothyroidism, and my mother is also hypothyroid,and also sheziopherenic. i m taking euthyrox 50 mg. 2 tablets daily. and i also had 1 misscarriage. and i m a mouth breather. can i get conceive again. and can pregnancy goes normal and ll ve normal dilevry. plz reply me

Hello,
I can understand your concern.
Thyroid can affect fertility and the outcome of pregnancy only when the thyroid hormones are not balanced.
Prior to conceive you should confirm that the dose of euthyrox is correct.
Once the pregnancy is confirmed, you should raise the dose of euthyrox by 20% and check the TSH 4 weeks later.
You should be under close monitoring of TSH level during the whole pregnancy.
You should not get worried because with close monitoring, it is easy to keep the hormones under normal ranges.
