Hello there, Thank you for your question. I am Dr Asanghanwa Carlson. On height, I would say girls generally grow faster than boys and achieve their definite adult heights between the ages of 18 to 21 years. Little or no growth is seen afterwards. Any medications to increase height must be given on very early in childhood before the ages of 5 years. These are generally hormones. After these ages the only other options left are plastic surgery with knee implants which is quite expensive and comes with side effects. I advise you gain confidence in your height. It might be at the origin of a low self esteem but know there are many other good things in life toe enjoy. Gain confidence in yourself and go on to live a fulfilling life. Your short stature in no way hinders you from living life to its fullest. Good luck
