Is It Possible To Lose Weight And Regain Shape After Steroid Treatment?

hi i am priyam suffering from alopecia areata since 6 years .doctors have prescribed me with benesol forte,minxidil and betnamethasone propianate.i have gained a lot of weight and there is sweling on my face.will i be able to gain back my normal shape and size of my body as well as my face once i stop taking this steroidal treatment.Answer as soon as possible.

Hi,
Yes, once you discontinue the steroid treatment the weight gain side effect of the treatment will reverse. You may need consider a weight loss diet for a while and some exercise but the long term prospects for a return to your original figure would be good.
