Is It Possible To Remove Broken Screws From Leg?

Hi, is it possible to remove screews from my leg that I broke. I broke both bones and have a pin from my knee to my ankle, I only want the screews at the bottom of my leg removed so my ski boots don't rub the heads of the screews, is this possible and how long would recovery be.? Thanks.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Screws can be removed and there will not be any recovery period. I would suggest you to show it to orthopaedic surgeon to get opinion. You can send your x ray to us , we can confirm if screws can be removed or not.
