Is It Required To Have Bariatric Surgery Before Undergoing Abdominoplasty?
I am 38yrs old 5 1 feet and weigh 155 with three kids. I am considering abdominioplasty but should I get the bariatric surgery first? I was 120 before my third child and after I had him I went 130 but now I gained it all back and have been trying to lose for many yrs.. excercise, diet , pills, yoga , and have been on the yoyo since. I wish to fit into my old clothes.... HELP
I understand your concerns, however there are only two ways to lose weight i.e. to eat healthy or eat right and to exercise your way to a good body weight. I recommend that you consult a physician who can refer you to the right specialist. Since I have very little information about you I cannot make an online recommendation. However, abdominoplasty is safer than bariatric surgery, though both have their own side effects. I also would like to see that you are making enough effort to lose weight, not just have the notion of wanting to fit into old clothes. I hope you also see a psychiatrist who may be extremely helpful with channeling your thoughts in the right direction and motivating you.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a lovely day!
