Is It Safe For A Flight Journey After Cervical Spine Surgery?

I had cervical spine surgery, anterior surgery to remove two discs (5-6 and 6-7) and replace with PEEK cage. The surgery was six days ago and I have had a good recovery so far. I want to fly home (one hour flight) today... is it safe to fly one week after this neck surgery?

While we don't usually recommend flying away from your home area after surgery (just in case there is an issue, such as infection -- you want to be close to your surgeon), surgically - if you have no issues with recovery, it would likely be OK.
