Is It Safe To Change From Cileste To Ginet-84 Pill?

I changed from the Cileste contraceptive pill to Ginet - 84, but didn't realise the red pills were inactive! I took 7 of these then 14 of the other yellow ones. I stopped about 5 days for what I thought was my normal 7 day break, but I have not had my period yet and now I am confused as to what I should do now!

OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

It is safe to change, and start next pack from day one of your menses and take yellow pills; at time of inactive pills you will get your periods.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Richa Agarwal, OBGYN
