Is It Safe To Conceive When I Have Thyroid Imbalance?
hi dr,i am 28 yr & i am mard since 1 years and planning for a baby for 2month.I have thyroid problem ,my TSH is 7.8.I just wanted to know is there any problem for conceivng due to my thyroid imbalance.what should i do now for earlier pregnency.plz help.

By your numbers you are hypothyroid and you need supplemental thyroid hormone replacement like Synthroid. Your TSH level needs to be below 2.0
It may be difficult for you to conceive until the imbalance is corrected, but, once it is, there should be no problem
