Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Chicken pox in second trimester of pregnancy is associated with the risk of several congenital anomalies in fetus, which range from very severe to mild anomalies.
You can opt for termination of pregnancy in such a situation.
The risk of these anomalies is not there in next pregnancy as the virus is usually cleared from the body in 4 weeks.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
