Is It Safe To Fly After Having An Ischemic Stroke?

My husband had a vertebral dissection in the left cerabellar (the pica vein) which bled and clotted they called it an ischemic stroke. He had the stroke on June 6,2014. We asked his neurologist if he could could fly he said yes, there was no surgery so there is no air in his brain, so flying is o.k. is flying really o.k. 1 month after incident?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern and looking to the history given here I could say that if your had a history of neurological surgery and now he want to fly then he can be because this is nothing to take with air travelling, hope this information helps you, take care and have nice day.
I find this answer helpful
