Is It Safe To Give Augmentin Syrup For 6 Days To A Year Old?

hi....my baby is 1 year old. she had fever of 104 c four days back. doc told that she had acute phargnitis. they gave augmentin IV for 3 days n now they are telling to continue with oral augmentin syrup for another 6 days....is it right to give augmentin for 6 days

Augmentin is quite safe and effective antibiotic for the children.
It can be given more than six days if required.
Need not to panic. just give the medicine and your baby will be alright .
