Is It Safe To Give Turmeric To A 9 Months Old?

hi doctor! i have a 9month old daughter. I would like to know if i can give her little root turmeric mixed with the bottle milk to improve her complextion? i cudnt feed her with breat milk, so would like to know if turmeric would also help her gain good immunity?thnx nandini

Hello,

Yes, turmeric can be added but give in small quantity in warm milk and only one time a day. It helps build immunity besides minor infections as sore throat, sinus etc.
