Is It Safe To Go On Trip After Colonscope?
My 48 year old daughter is having a colonscope in the morning and is planning to ride with her husband for
a 3 hour trip to a museum 2 to 3 hours after the scope. What are the possible complications or effects from
this trip. I'm concerned this will be too much. Thank you

I can understand your concern toward your daughter's health.
1) Yes it is relatively safe to start activity as soon as patient recover from short anesthesia which was given for colonoscopy.
2) If she is all-right, pain-free, no abdominal bloating, completely awake then she can go on trip providing that she will be accompanying by another person all the time.
3) But Ideally, she should take rest at least till next morning.
