Is It Safe To Skip Two Periods?

Hi!I am currently taking the evra patch for my birth control. My husband and I are soon heading on our honeymoon and I am schedule to be on my period.I am looking to skip it and read that it is okay to skip up to 3 periods at a time.I am scheduled to have one more period prior to leaving for my honeymoon (and the second period).I am wondering if I am better off skipping both, to give my body time to adjust and maybe avoid spotting on our honeymoon OR if I should just skip the one? Thanks!

OB and GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

You can take it to skip your periods, but its better just to skip one as it can cause irregularity in your periods further.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Naira Jahangir, OB and GYN Specialist
