Is It Safe To Take 2 Spoons Of Epsom Salts In A Day?

I am instructed to buy BP grade Epsom salts and to take 1 tablespoon in water 2x in one day. The instructions on Epsom salts jar states not to take more than 2 teaspoonfuls. I am doing this as a liver and gallbladder flush. Will 2 tablespoons as requested by my doctor be okay?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It may be best to clarify this with your doctor to see if he or she means for you to take the amount that was suggested.

If you use more than indicated on the package , there may be diarrhea since it is a laxative.

I hope this helps
